we are raised with certain behaviorial expectations with regards to gender - when people attempt to unsurp those expectations (because of the blatent limitations they hold on us) some people don't like it because it moves us as social beings into new unchartered territory where we don't have the comforts of the expected female/male behavior. People cling to the old because it's all they know.

It's like when you are on a road trip and you stop at a mcdonalds in toledo and then another one in st. louis. Your expecting to walk into the mcdonalds and have the layout be the same, the menu be the same, and the food taste the same. It gives you comfort while you are on the road, in different places. that's why those chains are popular along the freeways.

right. so now i've reduced gender mores to mcdonalds.

so we just went from boobs to Big Macs, I love it. My first job was at Mc Donalds and there was this woman who brought her kids in everyday for lunch. Although she was still breastfeeding her 1 or 2 year old kid and would do so in the booth. I used to get complaints all the time even though she was covered up.

I think it works both ways, I know that I've had relationships with very controlling women, beyond just the norm, and I've been a bit controlling myself. I don't think, in my case, it was a man/woman issue, it had to do with lack of faith/trust, which in that particular situation, was pretty reasonable....I've also been in a relationship where I kinda did trust the girl, and that bit me in the ass, too....but that was my fault.

Actually, we can ponder these things anonymously, I am not sure that people are equiped to provide the adult equivalent of "nursing". We smoke drink eat and associate with others in this wierd scramble to feel as comfortable as we once did. Some people seem to feel so self confident, accepting of who they are, what is available to them. Some of us just need a nice comfy boob once in a while.

I'm not a boob guy...I never paid much attention to them, until some girl freaked out on me because I didn't pay attention to hers.....you pay attention to breasts & you're an asshole, you don't pay attention to them, you're an asshole. Again....let's all get together, in person, and work this shit out...
