What if they want to represent aloof narcicism like dudes?

Yer kidding with the 'what if'?

Right?

I mean, right?

It works both ways, with men & women...

there's always someone next in line.

I had women on a pedestal for years,,,more sensitive, more caring.....don't get me going....

people are the same, men/women....the same.

they are not our saviors.

the dream is over.

this reminded me about this website, which has some insightful, and also amusing, content:

http://www.heartlessbitches.com/

Oh, Lord...JackiOs gonna love it

(Oh there's a Drunk Thread?)

then they become a threat to man. a threat that they can't control.

and of course, usually hated by other woman.

men really hate it when they can't control women...hence the website www.heartlessbitches.com........and all those other words used to degrade women.

and i think other women usually hate on female aloof narciscist because they wish they could be that way too. but not everyone can be an aloof narcisist because then we wouldn't get anything done (although i see us going that way with myspace). the more we become a "me" culture the less we become an "us" culture and the more we hate on each other.

but i always hate on men...cuz they suck pants

For some reason, the whole pants thing reminds me of Eddie Izzard's explanation of "bollocks" vs "the dogs bollocks".

I thought everybody wanted everybody else to be sweet and nurturing (and so would feel betrayed when anyone isn't), but then again I'm three years old inside.

Not that there aren't unfair stereotypes, too, but I'd rather interact with individuals. Which means I'm confused all the time and never see anything coming, but I prefer that to being labeled, so out of fairness I can't label anyone else. Phew. You're right, HFE, it needs beer.

that heartless bitches website appears to be terrible for women. they seem to be saying that they need to help each other and be more assertive and less supportive. if they present the issue this way it sort of implies that they didn't have control in the first place, which has never been my experience. I've seen women securely at the wheel of most heterosex couples. No problem for some, big problem if your confused.

I've always taken the site's general attitude to be that of encouraging women to be independent, thinking for themselves, and self-reliant.

in real life i guess i've seen both sides of the coin (the independent vs. the needy to some extent or other ...)

Yeah, I read the homepage. It's kind of like women that are actually paying attention to whiny baby men are so concerned about it, that it takes up even MORE of their lives maintaining a website about it. Could it be that these ladies actually enjoy the concept of voicing their self sufficiency in this way. Are we needy men a problem, or is it good to be needed?

I would say, as a woman who hasn't been to the heartless bitches' site, that I'm aware women are not just expected but also somewhat socially conditioned to provide nurturing. Like any other positive trait, you can harm yourself by going overboard, so if you're letting some whiner take advantage of you and you're having trouble being assertive (and honestly, some women have trouble with that), a place of support and sharing can help, because that's how women work. Some of this crap is just venting and does not translate into real behavior with loved ones. And a man troubled by a needy woman might not be so apt to network about it. . .

Try to keep in mind that you know and are friends with a selected group of people, and even out in public, you're moving in certain circles. Put together every relationship you observe, whether you like or understand it or not, and you'll still fall far short of the universe of what people in general are doing, unless you're a therapist or something.

I don't know about any of that other stuff, but a girl's farts smell just as bad as a guy's. Sometimes worse.

Don't let them fool you into thinking it doesn't happen.

My boyfriend would like to have me believe that his farts are the smelliest ones on the planet, and that I couldn't fart by way out of a paper bag. It's cute how he tries to assert his manliness.
