Not only did the Piston's finish/win their series (bring on the Magic) last night but the Red Wing's completed their SWEEP of the Av's last night ( 8-2 ChadK, seriously, 8 - 2?!?! , in hockey?? and in Colorado!?! Damn.). Also, the Detroit Tiger's swept the Yankee's in NYC for the first time since the 60's (y'know, when Marty was a teenager. Yes, THAT LONG AGO).

Anyways, I know, Detroit is still Detroit. But for one brief moment in time, the fine people of Detroit could read the Sports page of the Free Press with great pride.

maybe it is for the best...he doesn't seem to want to coach under Sarver and Kerr...but then again who would...those two really want to pull all the strings of team...but its their right because they are the owners and the president. As far as who would coach next???I have no idea...

BTW New Orleans is kicking some Spurs ass!! They are playing the defense like the Suns should have against Duncan and Parker. Chris Paul should bee MVP over Kobe...but he won't be because he is more of an unknown player.

Yeah, I totally think CP3 should've won over Kobe, but too many people think that just because Kobe's gone so long without it that he deserves it.

that's true, but chicago has money issues too, with them paying scott skiles 4 million to coach the bucks next year. and, i believe a lot of NY's money problems go away after next year (contracts ending), at which point d'antoni might be able to spend some NY money.

I never really got to see the Hornets play during the regular season all that much - they've put together a pretty nice little team there: CP3 of course, Bonzi Wells (who I've loved since back when he was on the Blazers - you know, the year they blew a 15 some odd point 4th quarter lead against the Lakers, in L.A., for Game 7. Still, love the guy), Peja Stojakovic, Tyson Chandler, and David West.

I gotta like their odds, at least against the Spurs, and I can't even imagine a series between them and the Lakers, that would just be sick. They're the only team left I could really see myself rooting for...
