Human beings are never going to destroy this world. If it gets really bad, the earth will just cough out the human race like a piece of phlegm stuck in its throat. I am vegan and I try to live as cruelty-free a lifestyle as possible, conserving and saving energy as much as I feel is reasonable, but I have no delusion that anything I do will ultimately save or destroy the planet. So, honeybees disappearing don't scare me, people's breeding habits don't scare me, and cell phones don't scare me.

War, terrorism, martial law, crimewaves... that's what scares me. We'll do each other in with guns and bombs before we every do in the planet (or the planet does in us).
