Yeah this whole Jacob character is so mysterious. And I wonder why he ignored Ben and just kind of shrugged him off again. He has to be dead, right? I mean, he was stabbed and thrown in a fire? Does anyone know what Richard said in response to the statue question? And how does faux Locke have the memories of real Locke?

frankly I am irritated by last night's episode.

but, I think that is the thing with the show, you just watch it to get worked up over nothing. they are never going to get off that damn island, even after they blow it up.

i liked how Rose and Bernard are living happily on the island are like "You guys are always trying to do SOMETHING!! Settle the fuck down!!"

i don't understand why they're even trying to "fix" things. every one of them besides jin and sun have a better life then they would have if they made it to LA.

So I looked on Lostpedia and apparently Richard answered "He who will protect us." Also according to Lostpedia: The statue is of Taweret, the Egyptian goddess of fertility.

Who is that other dude that is now the faux Locke and why did the smoke monster tell Ben to listen to that Locke? Or was that even the smoke monster... maybe it is that dude/fauz Locke all along??? Who the hell are those new people and why do they know so much??? What was the answer that Richard gave them???

And I really love how Sawyer is all emotional now...

After Locke died, the new Locke is the smoke monster the whole time. The Smoke Monster has manifested itself as human so many times. It pretended to be Ben's daughter to make him feel bad and listen to Locke, which the smoke monster knew was him.

I think the end will be something to do with fate, and they will totally know each other in their other life.

my attention span for the show vanished about the same time the island did at the end of last season.

did this whole show come down to two dudes, one (that wears black) who really wants to kill the other but can't for some reason and is searching for a loop hole in the rules to do it and the other (wears white) who seems to believe people can get along on a magical island without killing each other and continues to be proven wrong time and time again?

and the loop hole he was looking for ended up being manipulating the next group of people so that one of them kills him instead, but maybe not in time to start the whole event over again?

I think Juliet didn't have one because she wasn't a part of the Oceanic 6. Or the Oceanic, at all. She was already on the island. But on a totally unrelated Lost note (or maybe it is) I thought it was interesting that they killed off Juliet...especially since she will be starring in a new pilot this fall. I think it is this fall, anyway.

But back on track...um, so what I am lost on from last night's episode is...when Ileanna and crew get to the cabin and there is that ash trail leading to it (or from it), there is a blank space, like someone was lying there. WHAT DID THAT MEAN?

I am also confused on why Jacob was more upfront with Hurley than the others. And part of me thinks he is dead already. He couldn't possibly be so easily destructed after all that time on the island...right?

Time travel is fucked. And submarines are scary.
