Maybe I can get some Shizz-cred back by sharing how addicted I am to Season 3 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Was up 'til 4am watching it last night in fact. Left off with Dee dating the retarded rapper and the gang thinking Mac was a serial killer. Charlie as a defense attorney is one of the greatest things on god's green earth...

Cred restored!

Season 3 is amazing! I've been watching it like crazy as well.

The band episode is my favorite i think.

I have been wanting to watch Jesus Camp, it's on my netflix queue. Lately I have watched the following:

Outsourced was Awesome, especially if you work with alot of people from india or are in fear of losing your job to india.

THX1138 was really good and I think the special effects were good for it's time, but the ending sucked ass.

Moonstruck, was better then I expected, but I had really low expectations, Beth made me watch it.

Speaking of Netflix, I just "watched instantly" a movie called The Signal. If you like slightly odd horror, or B horror, or whatever you should check it out. I enjoyed it.

Slumdog Millionaire - Very clever and really well made, but a little overrated. Best picture? I don't think so...(I would, however, recommend the documentary "Born Into Brothels" in conjunction with seeing this movie if you do decide to do so)

Frost/Nixon - Very cool. Frank Langella as Nixon should win for best actor. Entertaining and not at all dull or bland, which one *may* expect given the subject matter. I likey. Buuut, I'm a nerd, so...

Revolutionary Road - I'm really glad I saw it, but I'll only grace it with a conditional recommendation - and that's only because it's probably not for everyone. Shit is dark and depressing...Kate Winslet is a goddess (and out of this world talented) and should win best actress, and Leonardo DiCaprio absolutely holds his own as well - he's supposed to be a dick, and he succeeds in marvelous fashion.

If you've seen the trailer and think it looks like something you'd like, I bet you'd probably like it. Oh, and it's directed by Sam Mendes of "American Beauty" fame if that helps you decide one way or another...

Meh, I was unemployed, and on vacation - and when I wasn't out watching awesome movies, I was in watching trashy television ("Bad Girls Club", "The Real Housewives of Orange County *and* New York", "Keeping up with the Kardashians", "Hey Paula", and every court show I could find).

Or drinking... Mostly drinking.

It's important to have balance in life.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.
