Clash of the Titans - While "visually stunning" it totally deviated from the first movie. I know it would have been longer if they hadn't but I was disappointed none the less. I say the 1st movie is the better of the two.

Also for a rental:

Brief interviews with Hideous men - A brief peek into to the male perspective on relationships/dating/sex. I loved this movie.

Dez - I have that in my netflix que. I will up it to be the next one shipped then since you liked it so much.

I kind of loved An Education. I even watched the deleted scenes. I wanted the story to keep following Jenny.

Do! I'm fan of John Krasinski. Once I saw not only did he star in it but directed it as well, I was sold. He's too cute.

I've not read any of David Foster Wallace stories until now watching this movie so now I'm curious to check out more of his writing. We shall see!

While I enjoyed the movie, I found Krasinski's monologue to be very lackluster. Not the content, but the delivery.

Still a good watch though.

Agreed, actually. His monologue was not as good as the rest of the subjects. The final statement could have carried much more weight had he delivered it differently.

But yes still worth watching!

Newsradio, with the audio commentaries.

Years later, I'm still totally and completely in love with this show.

Emperors of Japan

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

Spartucus: Blood and Sand (via Netflix Starzplay) and holy hot dudes and chicks naked and over the top gore and violence and Xena warrior princess as a red head (and nude)! This show is ridiculous. (10 more episodes to go)

omgosh the lovely bones was good. I totally teared up. Man I need to reread that book now. sigh.

observe & report. Strange movie. I don't know if I liked it or not.

Smart people. I didn't really care for it except the interaction w/ Dennis and Thomas Haden.

I started watching The Legend of the Seeker because my bff loves it and said I would too. I dig it. She was right. and the guy who plays the seeker should just not wear a shirt through the whole series. haha hubba hubba. There was an eppy w/ these chicks called Mord'sith. They are like dominatrix who cause such pain until they break you and then you will do anything they say. The chick that played Denna - the mord'sith torturing the seeker was way hot. Her outfit looked painted on. It so reminds me of Xena and Hercules and I love that. I will have to check out that blood and sand series.
