iron man 2 - the only thing I liked about it was agent coulson face time. I love that dude. The first iron man was so good, why did this one suck?

Outfoxed: Murdoch's War on Journalism - so good since I can't stand fox news

brooklyn's finest. LOVED it. So gritty and the ending was perfect!

Bifecta. This is one of the better documentaries about marijuana that I've seen.

This has been in my queue forever - i'll have to bump it up...

Also, for other documenatries about politicians that I, too, have developed old man crushes on, I would recommend "One Brief Shining Moment" about George McGovern.

Paranormal Activity. I really enjoyed the tense and uncertain nature of the movie. Caught myself tightly gripping a couch cushion more than once while watching it.

Too bad the final 30 seconds made the movie an ass sandwich.

A co-worker explained that the ending tied into the sequel pretty well.

The throat slitting ending was pretty much just as bad.

The original ending probably would have worked the best of the three, as it used both the knife (referenced earlier) and the time lapse (a great mechanic in the movie). I didn't like the whole idea of the demon scaring off the sister though.

I personally thought that they shouldn't have manifested the demon at all in the resolution. Fear of the unknown is what scares the shit out of me.

If they had ended the movie after she screams for Micah, he runs downstairs, screams, and everything fell silent, I would have probably had a sweet nightmare last night. Especially if the closet light (the one with the crawl space) turned on after that.

Also, they could have worked a fire into it somehow, but I think the director ruled it out to save the camera footage.

I seriously lose the fear when they "name the puppy". It is way more creepier when you don't know wtf it is or see it.

If they would have never showed anything beyond Micah running downstairs when she screams for him and then perhaps lights going on and off then maybe the battery drain from the camera to end in nothing... way creepier.
