"Jon Benjamin Has a Van" - It really appeals to parts of me that haven't been tickled by a TV show in many a year. I can't put my finger on what it is exactly...

It's his voice. His beautiful, beautiful voice.

Cohen brothers' True Grit remake. It wasn't bad I just prefer the original. John Wayne has a special place in my heart.

nobel son - I liked it a lot. Bryan Greenberg is such a hottie.

the winning season. I liked this a lot. Sam Rockwell is such a great actor.

The Eagle - needed more battle scenes AND more male nudity. Lots more male nudity.

Red Riding Hood. hahaha twilight w/ more snow. I think it should have been way more creepier and more sexual tension.

Just Go W/ It. So much cuter than I thought it would be.

Season of the Witch. Totally hokey although I liked the story a lot. I kind of have a like/dislike thing w/ Cage's acting.

I watched the first episode of Camelot. What crap. And I can't believe that androgynous twelve year old looking dude playing arthur landed the role of Jace in The mortal instruments. UGH. yuck yuck yuck.

ASSSSSSCAT

its the closest thing i will ever get to a new episode of UCB, and it was pretty solid.

also have tried watching the 1967 spiderman cartoon on netflix. im not a fan of watching old kids shows as they are usually only 'good' because of nostalgia, but this show was INSANE. i think the 60s were in full effect. watch an episode if you have the netflix- its bizarre.

Yeah, that 60s Spider-Man is in my queue as well. Looks like some mindless fun.

I watched Scarface in its entirety for the first time last week. Terrible accents aside, I enjoyed. I had to turn on subtitles for a lot of the dialogue tho. :/

And for the record, "say hello to my little friend" is one of the worst lines in cinematic history. :P

We got the Spider-Man '67 Collection DVD at Revolver. I am VERY tempted to buy it if it's still there tomorrow.

I TOTALLY agree. Also contradictory of her character was how Gemma was about the little girl that got raped. She said she can't be silent and carry it alone. Then she goes and does the same thing. Sutter got it wrong. So wrong.

Yet he created a character later in the season of a woman that owns her sexuality w/ no apoligies and no ones seems to mess w/ her. Lyla. Sutter must have a soft spot for sex workers/porn star/strippers.

yeah he def loves sex workers, which is fine, they should be portrayed as real people because they are.

i'll watch it til the end of this season and if there's any good developments in that story line (as you noted) i'll probably watch the 3rd season. jax is hot but i wish they'd hire a new costume person for him! baggy pants? white sneakers? dude should be wearing tight jeans and mc boots and be smoking hot. right now i give his face an 8 and his costume a 3

and he needs to show his butt more. more butt!

yeah, i'm not sure why jax dresses like a juggalo. although i guess if you were a biker in a small town in nor cal, you'd be a juggalo.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

I had been DVRing and deleting episodes of "Louie" without watching them until this quote re-triggered my interest...

"What’s so distinctly compelling about this season of Louie is how everyone seems to collectively realize that what C.K. is doing is not only cool, but also authentically artful and unnaturally profound. There’s no debate over its value because there’s no contradictory position to take. It’s not polarizing in any important way: If you’re watching this show, you intuitively know it’s fantastic (and substantially unlike the way fantastic TV typically is).” — Chuck Klosterman

Now having caught up, I do agree that this season has been pretty special...
