This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

Ah.. Shizzfest!? Is this Bands on Grand but all at TS? Chad's new band? Like woah! I want Five Speed, on.
yeah, the impetus for this was to plan a bands on grand-like event, but i scaled it back to try and make it easier to manage. the upside is 12 bands in one day. the downside is there's about 50 other bands that aren't part of it (but if this goes well, there will absolutely be a next time).

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

this show wasn't ridiculous enough, so art for starters was added to the lineup.

i'm totally stoked about playing this show. Is there a timeslot/lineup sorta thing floatin around yet? It only seems fitting to get Sparks to sponsor this event. Tony, get on that shit, holmes.
Even if it's that crappy no caffeine kind.

Halema'uma'u recorded some demos yesterday with Matt Townsend from Emperors of Japan. They (one at least) will be up on our myspace page this week if you want to know what the opening band sounds like. The space link is in my sigNature.
