So what's the policy if I decide to nix the tux?

A friend of mine is having a birthday party in Phoenix as well that night.

I plan to hit up both, but with all this talk about how turning people away at the door, I don't really feel like dressing up to go to a friend's party and then stand outside of the Icehouse for 10 minutes while I wait for a cab to pick me up because the place was too crowded.

you'll still be allowed in sans tux. i totally understand your concern. i wouldn't want to do that either and i hate standing in line to get into places, especially if i am all dressed up for that place.

AND. My mom is now asking me to come up early tomorrow morning to help her paint her living room, kitchen, and dining room. This project will take several days. I am going to try to put her off until monday, BUT if I can't I will not be able to make it tonight, and MAY not be able to help decorate day of prom. I will see what I can do. It is hard to say no to my mom. (Ask anyone.)

I can make it tonight for sure but I might have to bring the little monster with me. Is there enough paint and paper to let her paint her own banner to keep her busy? That will buy me some time and sanity
