yay those are cool! I like the one where im all like "what? yeah this is a pen. So?"


So last nights meeting was productive. We made 2 banners for the entrance area that say "Shizz Prom 09" and "Welcome to An Enchanted Evening on Mars" - if we can find a place for it inside the bar we might hang the 2nd banner inside.

We discussed where the photo area would be
we discussed where DJMig would be set up
We are all meeting again at the Icehouse on Wednesday night to finish the banners if anyone wants to join us. Probably at like 6pm
We discussed a raffle with prizes

We need decorations:
Streamers
wall decor
planets/aliens/unicorns/castles/etc.
i believe we have a disco ball (tony?)
anything that would be great for a dance party at a bar

if you would like to donate/lend decorations to the Shizz Prom, PM me.

if you would like to help us decorate for the prom, please come to the Icehouse Tavern on May 2nd at 6pm to help decorate.

Doors to the prom officially open at 9pm.

for anyone who's interested, some of us are going to go out for dinner pre-prom in our attire. the consensus right now is to hit up the chinese cultural center and eat at golden buddha at 7 pm.

A friend of mine is having a birthday party in Phoenix as well that night.

I plan to hit up both, but with all this talk about how turning people away at the door, I don't really feel like dressing up to go to a friend's party and then stand outside of the Icehouse for 10 minutes while I wait for a cab to pick me up because the place was too crowded.
