Oh, Shizz... My life is so perplexing right now!!!

My son has been presented the opportunity by his overbearing grandparents to live in Singapore for the next school year and I need to make a decision whether or not to let him go by next week. His grandfather will be taking his sabbatical there and yea, yea, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity but it's my only son they want to take across the world without me!

If he does leave then that leaves me all alone for the first time in my whole life. For the first time ever I will be on my own with no parents to answer to, and no child to be responsible for on a daily basis. I don't even know what that's like since I went from being a teenager to an adult. I'm afraid of not knowing what to do with myself.

Everything out of nowhere is changing and I'm crazy afraid for what the future will bring or what may not occur because of being so leery. I just wish I had as much zeal as I did when I was younger. Back then I just dove in head first into life and now, I'm just an old scardy cat *sigh*

And to top it off I still don't know what to wear to prom!
