definitely luke but it's a little unfair
well kirk has years of experience actually finished his star fleet training (i think) and is a master at intergalatic warfare
luke has a small grasp of the force and can fly space ships really well for no real training
-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

I I couldnt buy that Hayden dude as Anakin, he was just a whiny bitch.
So was Luke!
"But I was going to the Toshi Station to pick up some power converters!" BOOHOO!
Like father like son i guess, but i think difference was we knew Luke at the beginning of his journey. He started out a whiny bitch, then became a calm, collected, jedi. We knew Anakin as the dude that became Darth Vader, the ultimate bad ass of the galaxy, next to boba fett, of course. Be he started out as a little kid to a little bitch to still a little bitch, just an angrier little bitch. To bad were not practicing tonight, otherwise could continue this in person! HA!

which luke are we talking about here? if we're going by ep. 1 luke, then yeah, kirk wins. but by rotj luke was a jedi knight, and later became jedi master. there's no way kirk could fight a jedi kight, let alone a jedi master.definitely luke but it's a little unfair

Are we really talking about Kirk being able to fight?

I just see Kirk being more of a hand to hand brut than Luke. young Kirk, not old big belly kirk.

He's managed to take down every other kind of alien in the galaxy, I don't think a guy who can toss junk at him is gunna be able to bring 'im down.
Mind control? Please that only works on simpletons--maybe Checkov, not The Kirk.
Actually . . . if you think about it, Luke's "story arch" is sort of like starting out as Kirk (hot headed) and evolving into Spock (cold & dispassionate)?
