I had the mock duck at Tipps 88 and it was good. I have never eaten real duck before, but I get what you are saying about not eating fake versions of stuff you wouldn't have eaten otherwise.

I've cooked my own vegan food at home, and it is way better than anything I have ever had in a restaurant.
p.s. it doesn't have to be asian food to be vegan!

If you absolutely have to be vegan, at least do your body the favor of not eating TVP and/or wheat gluten (seitan)

it's junk.
especially wheat gluten, zero nutrients. you might as well eat sand.

Wheat gluten is poison to people with Celiac disease. Some believe that wheat gluten is not good for any human.
