I only eat meat from my own fake ducks that this lady from "Thailand" pretends to raise in Chandler. Locavore!

Love like you don't need the money, dance like you've never been hurt, and work like nobody's watching.

Has anyone ever been to "The Plaid" in Tempe? I remember I went there in high school with my vegan friends and it was so good but i dont know if it is still good... anyone? Also i believe ThaiRama substitutes any of their meat dishes with Tofu. I love that place.

Yeah, like the whole name to that place is: The Supreme Master Ching Hai Vegetarian House"

"The Lord Jesus Christ Vegetarian House" sounds wrong on so many levels.

Uh, I'll take the ..... mock duck please. MMM, this tastes really good, almost real, what do you guys use?

Jesus pops out "Dudes, it's totally me you're eating! You are soooooo Christian now! San Dimas High School football rulez!

I was on that side of town Saturday so I tried it. It was good but not better than vegetarian house or green in my opinion. But still good. The curry special they had that day was the best dish I tried there though. Delicious like dessert. One weird thing... they didn't know what hot mustard is. All they have is regluar spicy brown mustard.

There's a vew vegetarian/vegan place in town: Boba Juice. It's a Vietnamese place, and I'm pretty sure everything is vegan. It's all vegetarian for sure. They sort of bill themselves as a smoothie/boba shop but they have a whole food menu too. It's super cheap, most stuff on the menu is $4-$6, and the smoothies are awesome too.

I go there about once a week. It's tasty.

Well, there's a review of it in June's Trunk Space Slide Rule. I dunno if anyone looks at that, but if they do...it ain't a secret no more.

However, I think that no matter how many hipsters figure out that it's delicious and it's vegan, it will still be a tiny place run by Buddhists in the Vietnamese district.

yes! the owner showed me the review in the zine... he was very happy about it!
and I do hope that they are successful, I just dread the day that their beat up parking lot is full of Prius' with COEXIST stickers...
