valentine's day
it was the only day our schedules didn't conflict.
we both think it's kinda hilarious.
i'm thinking about getting a sappy valentine's card for a husband or something and then just writing "Nice to meet you" on the inside of it and giving it to him when we meet.
is that too crazy? sometimes i need an outside opinion or i'm all "overkill is hilarious!"

i don't think it's too crazy. i think it shows you've got a rad sense of humor. i'd go with it. if he doesn't find it funny, you'll at least know what you're in for.

Overkill is hilarious. Especially if you think it's funny. Being able to be on a similar humor level is so important in a relationship (not that you have one yet, but you get the picture). Maybe get an anniversary card and a lily for his gravestone? Maybe a singing one with Kelly Clarkson's "since you been gone" on it. That would rule as a dead spouse anniversary card. I would cry if I got that when I'm dead. So touching. Good song. Yeah, I said it. Oh, and KC is bangable; funnel cakes and all.

Other ideas: birthday card for the oldest age you can find, or a sympathy card.
haha a sympathy card!!!
that's a great idea.
i could just write "Sorry" on the inside.

The other month we had some birthday treats for one of our regular teenage boys at the library, and I got him this pink card with glitter that said, "It's your birthday, princess!" and had a kitten on it. And my boss brought in a tiara for him to wear.

you should take that card to dillards and spray it down with the most grandma selling perfume you could find.

but then i am so cool ( ) and i'm on okcupid and there's nothing wrong with me...
