i hate it when i write girls messages, which i'd put some thought into them, then i go check my profile again to see that the girl who i wrote checked my profile but didn't have the decency to at least reply. **sigh** oh well.

i always took this to mean they did not find me attractive. i know that's what it probably looked like when i got an email from a girl i didn't find attractive. i know that sounds shitty but it is what it is. no use in wasting each other's time. i'm not so shallow that i can't be good friends with someone of the opposite sex that i'm not attracted to. but i wasn't on okcupid for friends. i had enough of those.

this is true. when i got a message from a dude and i checked his profile and decided i wasn't into him, i never wrote back. i only wrote back to dudes who's profiles i liked.
