getting a vasectomy sucks. it's like getting several teeth pulled, but they're not pulling teeth. and you're fully awake. it sucks. it sucks. it sucks. and it hurts, bad, for like three days.

but, hey, it was a damn good decision. i figured if i ever change my mind, i should have enough money to get it reversed, so i have enough money to raise a dreamkiller, i mean evil shit monster, i mean baby. plus, i figured, and still very much feel this way, that there's more than enough starving children on this planet and the last thing i need to do is make one with my fucked up genes. i'd rather just get a starving one, if the mood ever strikes.

my vasectomy was free. all i had to do was prove i was poor. i bet if you're not white, they won't even care about that. they'll just sign you up for a freebie.

as far as condoms go, i'd still use one if for some reason there was new partner action going on. plus it makes me last a lot longer, like forever. and if i didn't have one, there's more than enough fun stuff to do that wouldn't require one. what's the big deal?

In the end, this is all that matters. It's really okay if he has problems keeping it up with a condom on. That still doesn't give reason for you to have to do it without one. He needs to offer help and hold up his end of the bargain. Maybe like you said, there's a way to do it so it's not quite as much of a pleasure kill for him.

For reasons you've already mentioned, the pullout and morning after methods are not practical from here to the end of the relationship and the pill obviously gives you problems. So, you both need to work out a solution. If he's not that forthcoming about being able to discuss it or work towards something, then he's simply not worth a fuck. Literally.

If it's someone you just started seeing, I would expect to be requested to put a condom on. For those complaining about them, perhaps it's a matter of finding the right one that fits well, because an ill-fitting condom IS a total boner killer.
