Is that owned by the city? I would think you would just get a permit for it right? I don't think it would be that difficult.

i just left a message with the parks and recreation permit office so we can find out.

Why are there no punks who have opened a pizza place like this? Somebody give me some money and I'll do it. Either this or my life's dream. Ericbertos. It will be modeled after Pokez in San Diego but with beer.

In July when I was there, they were about two weeks away from having beer and wine again.

more like a place you could have an actual show, buy a slice and a beer and a shot. places like papago dont have the room for a legit 60 kid show, pizzas are all $10 and no liquor.

AND ANY SUGGESTION THAT HAS TO DO WITH DOMINOES IS CONSIDERED TROLLING. as previously mentioned, the Icehouse is chill and all, but i would never book a legit punk show for a touring band there.

they usually have specials on PBR tall boys, and after the shows, when you're all drunk and tasty, there's usually a hot dog cart right outside the venue, but the best part is there's a NY style pizza place right around the corner (voted #1 in orlando 6 years in a row).

IIRC, Joe's goal is all ages matinee shows. Though Hollywood Alley does have good pizza.

yeah hollywood alley used to have all ages shows back in the day but i think dealing with the security issues became a hassle. if you really wanted to do it you should talk to ross about it, might be a possibility.

Saw some pretty awesome blues at Monroe's before it disappeared.

I'd have to say Emerald Lounge then Ruby Room were the last places I would go to have a drink, hang out and hear whoever was playing there - I didn't care who - just liked being there. I haven't found a replacement like that yet but haven't really tried lately.

A local show/festival at the papago amphitheater would be AMAZING. I've been dreaming about playing there forever.

Trunk Space is like the walking-tour-trifecta. Shows @ Trunk Space, booze @ Bikini, and pizza around the corner at that place whose name I can't remember. They actually have pretty good pizza. Bonus - candy @ Sweets n Beats!
