candidate A meets every conceivable criteria you have for a politician: their policies on economics, education, crime, etc, are all in line with your core values EXCEPT they're anti-choice.
candidate B meets none of your criteria - you disagree with them on every category, but they're pro-choice.
who do you vote for? serious question.

that's a good question. but it's hard to see how someone could be pro-choice and anti-gay marriage or against environmental preservation or renewable energy or for war etc.
but i always check to see if candidates are pro-choice because, voting for bills that take away our reproductive choices and rights always leads to voting for bills that take away other civil rights.
they are the same. they are still voting to take away civil rights. it's a slippery slope.
i always vote pro-choice because that is an indicator of whether they are in-touch with the real world and the people living in it and how much they respect people's privacy and rights and freedoms.

i recognize that it's an unrealistic scenario, but i wanted to pose it either way.
i'm not a fan of voting for a candidate based on one specific issue - although usually i'm arguing with people on the other side of the aisle about it.

Congress District 3
LeAnn Hull – had no anti-choice shit on her website
Paulina Morris – also no anti-choice shit on her website
Hull is pro-life I believe.
Morris on the other hand is pro-choice and talked a lot about the importance of the separation of church and state during one of the debates. I was pretty impressed to see that not only in a Republican primary but also in a very conservative district during a "tea-party year". Was kind of hoping the other 13 candidates would completely split the vote and she would win.....but Ben Quayle it is!
