Ok, well first acutal cd was green day dookie. But that was 6th grade for me. For my parents being rockers, my mom didn't ever let me buy any new cd's or even tapes. Everything I had was taped from the radio!!!

yeah i wanted the first one *you* bought.

i mean i listened to whatever my mom + dad + sis had but i'm curious what you sought out at first.

i can't even remember why i got terry jacks and elvis, but maybe it was indicative of the music i write now: melodic near-suicidal odes and emo sorta love songs. thanks terry jacks and elvis!

Mother's milk by red hot chili peppers , and Bleach by nirvana. bought with my own $bling$

before that, I was more interested in video games, than music.

the first video game I ever bought with my own money was mario bros. 2. I had it the day it came out.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

i am about to date myself. The first record I asked to have bought for me....

The first record I REMEMBER buying for myself? Inxs - Listen LIke Thieves
I remember the last record I ever bought, new on vinyl, like before cassettes came into fashion, was also Inxs. I bought Inxs Kick and U2 Joshua Tree on record. Then I discovered the wonders of cassette tape.

Speaking of records, Jen, I have GOT to come over and get those records from you guys!
