the fat boys were so good. i'm glad someone else remembers them.
hey, anyone remember that 80s hip-hop song that goes:
"boom, boom, boom, let's go back to my room, where we can do it all night, and make me feel right"?

The Vision Psychostick skateboard on the cover was a main reason.

My parents didn't think that was a very appropriate song for me to be listening to.
They also didn't like it when I referred to Janet as Miss Jackson.
Minardi, I had a fisher price turntable too, I still wish I had it. It was like a suitcase that opened up into a turntable. It was so awesome.
Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

I remember my junior year in high school during an assembly for the homecoming king/queen, some jackass put on Stone Cold's music from that CD and I cringed while he did the hokeyiet Stunner I've ever had the displeasure of seeing on some other candidate. It would have been the coolest thing I've ever seen, but the guy receiving it didn't go down smoothly and the kick from "Stone-Cold" looked about as real as a $3 bill.
During my senior year, there was a contest to win a dance with a homecoming king/queen candidate. You would bid on them and the highest bidder would obviously win. I put down $55 for the girl that I've had a crush on since 8th grade, Jess Green. I wasn't gonna participate at first, but then this gross psycho dude put down $45 on her. Being the chivelrist guy that I am, I wanted to rescue her, so I threw my hat into the ring so to speak. Needless to say, I won. The winners were announced at the end of the homecoming assembly, and the cheers that I got from the school was unreal and tremendously loud. I ran up to her, grabbed her in my arms, and swung her around. The crowd loved it. It was definatly my happiest day. And when it came time for the dance, I wowed her with my dancing ability (not the goofy dances, although I'm well-versed in them, but legitimate slow-dancing) and got a compliment from her saying so. Best. Homecoming. Ever.

both have reverberated in ways that still impact me today.
