dudes-----PHOENIX IS NOT THAT FUCKING LAME! have you driven cross country ever? well I did this past August By way of THE SOUTH- and longed for the desert every mile of that drive---that is, until I got to New York- and realized why I left. but for reals- its not that bad- and if you don't like it- LUMP IT.
PLUS- everything is a trade off----so yes---you think phoenix is lacking culturally--but you have to pay for culture---thats why New York is so damn expensive---but then again you don't need a car- if you live in one of the 5 buroughs....everything is a fucking trade off.
its waaaayyyyy easier to play music in Phoenix, too.
Also- people in Arizona are way more likely to keep their word than tons of places...
Granted- not as many good shows come through town- but thats only cos everyone who comes through hears the locals saying what a fucking dump it is.
