Suns Thread....

There have been little bubbles of discontent from Marion that have risen to the surface a few scattered time this past season. Apparently, he feels that Stat gets a little too much of the spotlight and that he doesn't get quite enough.
This'll be his chance to really step things up and get the shine that he apparently wants.
He'll just need to be an absolute demon.
It's gonna be a good game.

that's really true about Marion. This is the first game all season w/o Amare so it'll be interesting to see how they ajust their playing style. I'm really nervous for the Suns but I know that the game will be a good watch. The intensity level is going to be through the roof, maybe I'll loose my voice from yelling so much then I can call into work the next day....Ooh, also ...

(Marion)'ll just need to be an absolute demon.
Ooh - it gets gooder and gooder!
Thanks to FreeDarko (which everyone should read - I mean, the FreeDarko folks also occasionally write for McSweeney's), I stumbled upon this article opining that the Suns'll look to deal Amare in the off-season:

This is absolutely Marion's chance to prove his worth to the Suns or to anybody that they might try to deal him to, in addition to just stepping up and giving the Suns a chance at some rings.

the suns just didn't shoot the ball well, especially down the stretch.
kind of a bummer.

33? the biggest lead the suns ever had was 16.

they looked like they just plain ran out of gas...that will happen when you are only rotating an average of six seven players

had you watched the whole thing it would've been 80 times worse. Suns were so hot in the first half it was so painful to watch them allow it to slip away. I think Dan hit the nail on the head in that they just ran out of gas. If you saw the halftime interview w/ Thomas you could see he looked like he was going to colapse, everyone was playing full force they just staterd to dwindle after surpassing their normal play minutes. I still have hope after hearing an interview w/ Nash, he said the shit's going to go down on Friday and I think he's right. The Suns' back is against the wall and they have something to prove now....i'm not a huge basketball fan, but it was pretty disappointing seeing the Suns with a 12 point lead or something, checking back later and watching them let the gap close, and then finding out today that they lost.
shitty is now.
