season 2 of dexter.

hell yeah.

SO EFFING GOOD! I'm only a couple episodes in but good lo'd!

I had season 3 ruined for me, courtesy of a season 4 promotional trailer. Hate when they do that. <_<

Last Night I watched Funny Games (Germany, 1997). Great stuff. When Naked City plays over the movie's opening credit, you know you're in for something especially intense.

I watched Funny Games earlier this week. Crazy ass movie. That Michael Pitt guy is always so creepy.

I liked season 3 (Dexter) but I am so weary of season 4. babies. ew.

For the first time in a long time, I sat and watched tv this weekend. Bunch of shit, really. But I did enjoy Curb Your Enthusiasm (the episode about the Seinfeld reunion show) and Bored to Death was funny I thought. I'm not sure about Zach Galifinakis (?) yet. I watched some youtube stuff and he made a joke about being arty or indie and said he named his balls "Belle and Sebastian" and I thought that was funny. He seems to always play the same character which is wholly derivative of Zach Galifinakis.

Check out Visioneers. Not necessarily a great movie, but is pretty good, and it features Galafinalinaminakis playing a completely different character.

Judy Greer totally stole that movie (Visioneers). It's decent. Worth a viewing.

New Curb was totally awesome - especially Larry's dream sequences ("You're amazing Larry" -everybody). That was also the best episode of Bored to Death I've seen to date.

Also, I saw "Capatilism, A Love Story" which gets my full recommendation. Far more populist than partisan...Good stuff.

Started season 4 of It's Always Sunny. So awesome.

Last night I watched Visitor Q and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.

Visitor Q is pretty much for Miike fans only, and will confuse and appall those who don't like him or those who are unfamiliar.

Sympathy for Mr Vengeance was awesome. The entire Vengeance trilogy (Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, Lady Vegeance) is up on Netflix streaming now, so I'll be watching all 3. Woot.

I't funny, I've had 5.1 Surround for about a month now, but all I've been watching is subtitled movies. Go figure.

Emperors of Japan

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

Crank 2. I highly recommend this movie. Freals. Just don't take it seriously. It sure as hell doesn't take itself seriously.

Inside Deep Throat. Cuz I like documentaries. And porn.

From Dusk Till Dawn. Cuz It rules.

The Never Ending Story. Cuz it rules.

I loved the first one but Crank 2... I just could not like it. So bad.
