The best Chicago Style restaurant in Phoenix hands down was Dad's Doghouse in Mesa...can you say Italian Beef and sausage...sadly its gone now (burned up in a fire)...it was resurrected for a short time in Gold Canyon with the same menu but it was called Hawgs and Dawgs...sadly the owner had to shut it down too (crappy economy slowed down growth that far east).
Windy City is the best thing next to Dad's...but its just not the same...
The Farm Grill in Gilbert is awesome!!
The Farm at South Mountain and the Quiessence Restaurant are amazing!
Los Dos Molinos will blow your pooper a new one...you will poop fire its that hot...but so worth the heat.
Mangos in mesa is pretty good to...and so is El Charros...

2. Arriba's, any one of them
3. Blue agave in Snottsdale
4. Caramba's, especially the orig one on 55th ave and Glendale, awesome carne asada burritos
5. Rubio's for their fish tacos

If that is Joe's Farm Grill, the sweet potato fries are awesome. The Farm Grill (in Gilbert) is an amazing place where almost everything you eat is made on their farm. Tons of outdoor seating. You can bring your dogs. It has a really nice family feel to it. Retro looking decor. VERY cool place, and well worth the trip.
oooh i've been hearing good things about this place recently. i need to go.
