I always think I can help everyone.... like I can help people get refocused and be successful. Is that lame???

this is definitely not lame but be careful. You can't change people or help people that are not asking for your help. And even people that do ask for your help can only be helped so much.

I am like this too and have been taken advantage of repeatedly in the past by guys who figure this out and then exploit it for their sole benefit.

Whene I was 18 I was living in a house with like 8 dudes and two girls and it was horrid. No AC, cockroaches, No job, and no car. I was a BUM! Then this girl started liking me and yes I was suprised too. We hooked up and started dating and I started sleeping at her house(AC) and she would let me use her car and give me money and well after awhile I just pretty much lived with her. I went out with her for about a year and a half never getting a job the whole time. She never asked me to and never gave me crap. Alot of dudes have said "dude ,you had it made" But I was rotting inside. I knew that I was in love with the treatment and the not having to actually do anything rather than with her. Now mayybe she thought I hated her but Really I think she ended up with a way better guy then crappy me at the time. I ended it. Then I met Natti and she was the one that made me realize that I better do something if I want to be with her.

I think more of a red flag would be your list of positives. I mean, they are basically superficial things that you find out about a person in the first, like, 15 minutes of knowing them. Based on that alone, he seems like a guy you might want to get to know more, but until you know more about who he really is, you will not know if those "red flags" mean anything. Everyone likes to LOOK at a super hot guy, but there has to be something inside worth knowing. Know what I mean? Plus, every hot guy gets a million times hotter when you really care about them.


PS: I lived at home for 6 months when I was like 27, and there was a good reason for it.

always drunk
already has a girlfriend (that he doesn't mention until later or still hits on you even though he tells you he has a girl already)
favorite bands were nickleback, creed and the like
doesn't call when he says he's going to
flakes out on planned dates
says he's a really busy person
can't hold down a job
always broke but is always at the bar
is a slut
is always sick
doesn't like cats
doesn't like movies
puts more money into his car than anything else
fake tans
his ideal woman is Pam Anderson or the like
you walk into his place and he puts porn on
if he has a kid; he doesn't pay child support
calls me babe, baby or any gross stupid names like that

His name isn't matt but i must be careful because i am sure some of you know him, he knows everyone. So if you ever see me out... and you see me with a dude PLEASE dont say "Is this the guy?" or any of those sort of things hahaha.... i know you all wouldnt but you never know!

I think I will see where it goes and see if the good things over power the bad. So far he always opens doors for me and wants to pay for everything which is a LOT more than I am used to so that is good. Plus he doesnt mind that I am a crazy recovering Mormon haha
