and even though i hate outdoor shows, i have to admit that might be neat to do one there.
and man, ive thought millions of times about shows in random ass places. BUT my belly still implores me that if i could find a pizza place that serves booze i would probably never want to go anywhere else again.

I totally miss the eff out the emerald lounge. Smoke filled and all.
I rather don't like house shows because 9 times out of 10 the cops come before the band I really came to see plays. It's my curse, that and having my luggage lost when I travel by plane.
I loathe large venues. (like marquee)
I work crazy long time at work and then work out after for an hour or so, going out to shows on weeknights just doesn't sound appealing to me when I'm exhausted and have to get up early. Then finding someone to go w/ me on weekends sometimes gets challenging since I'm super paranoid female who doesn't like to walk to and from my car to most of the venues here alone. Some of them are in really shady areas.

no idea, but every time i drive by it i think about it. you'd probably need a generator and a permit from the city?

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

Is that owned by the city? I would think you would just get a permit for it right? I don't think it would be that difficult.
Message board?
This is The Shizz.
Chromelodeon manages to get all the furniture from their hotel into the lake a few years back...and people are worried about shizzies?

Why are there no punks who have opened a pizza place like this? Somebody give me some money and I'll do it. Either this or my life's dream. Ericbertos. It will be modeled after Pokez in San Diego but with beer.
