I always thought Esteban was the most important band from Phoenix.also, though nobody seems to give a fuck about the most important band to ever come from Phoenix, Sun City Girls have recently released the 14th installment in their "Carnival Folklore Resurrection" series -
currently listening to:
Vetiver - To Find Me Gone
Serene Dominic & The Semi-Detached: Adult Contemptuous

-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

I'm enjoying it so far. Seems a little darker than their other stuff.

I pretty much paid an arm and a leg to import it, but it's pretty fucking sweet, despite being nothing like I expected.
And I'm still feverishly listening to Anaal Nathrak and Mates of State.
I would love for a psychologist to interpret that one.
Islands ~ Return to the Sea completely caught me off guard too. Great record.

Is there anything on there that's not on any of the Analords? After I paif $20+ for 26 Remixes For Cash, I have no problems with stealing money from RDJ for things that cost way more than they should.I found AFX ~ Chosen Lords, though. So I'm pleased.
