thanks for the hayden reminder -- i've been listening to skyscraper national park all week. there's some song I found online from his convocation hall concert (with julie doiron singing/playing too!) of this track that comes up as "bass song" but it's not. it's quiet, has piano, very short -- great song, though.

also:
damien jurado, "ohio"
mojave 3, "trying to reach you"
mia doi todd. "planting"
some unknown Moroccan jazz ensemble recorded by a travel writer with this crazy Gillespie-style trumpet player over an Arabic drum (recorded in Tangier) - (chic alors!) here's the link crazy morrocan wedding band

"not to touch the earth" live by the doors, this had always been a good song but i got really stoned last weekend and this song got a whole new meaning! plus being in l.a. with a bunch of potheads at a house that threw the germs reunion after party was too much. lorna doom was there. wow
