really, even if you went issue by issue, and it said that you should vote for X, if you emotionally were drawn to Y, that's who you'd vote for, ignoring all logic?

why would someone be emotionally

I'm just saying that inevitably, there are pople who THINK they want candidate X, however, when they take the poll, they find that candidate doesn't fall into there top position. I think that might've happened to mothrock, but he ain't talking.

I thought perhaps you (AB) were saying, that you decided on your particular candidate based on emotions, not logic, and what would you do if you found that the two were at odds. But, what I'm getting from you, is that you went issue by issue, and decided on your candidate based on your emotional reaction to those individual issues. I don't want to put words in your mouth. Some people, look mostly let's say, how those individual issues affect their bank book, and leave emotion out of it..... I'm not critisizing at all, not in any way, just exploring different folks methodology. Just observing, asking questions, and learning.

i don't know, my reaction to that is simply
what's in the article...if people or corporations
contribute illegally, then that's wrong and they
should be prosecuted, fined, whatever. and if
campaigns take contributions illegally, the same
goes for them.
i think it's funny and ironic that republicans are
trying to get people to vote for nader.

he is excepting a donation from people he is suppose to be dead against

he is preaching to people about voting for kerry because he might be the lesser of two evils
he is stating that in a way, voting for kerry is giving up and deemed as weak......

he is claiming to be an idealist, someone who stands by their convictions, not giving in

i just can't see how that could be true if he is excepting money from the "enemy"
