I think Woody managed to take one back but John went home empty handed. I will try and save a bottle or two if i can resist drinking it all (no chance).
I'm definitely hooked. I'm thinking a hefe will be next for me.

I'm gonna go for a light beer, a pilsner-esque brew, and once primary fermentation is done I will bottle with skittles as the priming sugar. I imagine I will only need one per bottle but I'm gonna try up to 3.
Chances are this will be a disaster, but I only have plans for a half recipe anyway.

you have to save one for me!

6 lbs Pale Malt Extract
2 lbs Orange Blossom Honey (Flagstaff in the house!)
.5 lbs Gambrinus Honey Malt
.5 Weyermann Carafoam
8oz Bittersweet Bakers Chocolate
2oz Cascade hops
I had a basic recipe for a honey beer; Ken at the homebrew depot helped me add some shit to it. The Chocolate is my roll of the dice; however, at only 8oz, you probably wont even taste it - it'll just make it 'more smooth'. So they say.
Damn, it smells fucking good.

I really want to brew the Oatmeal stout clone, but I'm going to hold off on that until I move and upgrade my equipment. In the meantime, I may try to brew the Cerveza Imperial again. Hopefully this time minus the mold.

I bought a Party Pig two weeks ago - i'm going to bottle 1/2 and Party Pig the other half. gotta see how it works out. I think i'll pick up some bombers to keep the bottling down to a minimum...
the brown honey brew is bubbling nicely - i hope the cat doesn't chew the airlock off...

Sherv, are you down?I'm thinking I need to brew this weekend. Colin is down. While we were talking about brewing, I cracked open one of my last five 16 oz. citrus brews. One thing led to another and now they are all gone except for a single 22 oz bottle. Dammit!
