I picked up the deluxe editions of Closer and Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division.

They each come with a live show, which is cool, but what's really great is getting to hear those albums remastered. Excellent.

Oh, and Joel got me into Glenn Branca's "The Ascension".

It was good. Nothing amazing, but not bad. He comes off a lot different in the film than he did in the book. But it was shot amazingly. And you can't exactly argue with the soundtrack either.
