They each come with a live show, which is cool, but what's really great is getting to hear those albums remastered. Excellent.
Oh, and Joel got me into Glenn Branca's "The Ascension".

bonuses that come with remastered and reissued CD releases is a Wellknown Pleasure, my friend. one that i am quite addicted to.
i have 4 Sonic Youth and 2 Pearl Jam albums en route from Amazon, so in the meantime I am listening to:
Neil Young - Chrome Dreams II
really awesome, i was scared it wouldn't be, but it is
Velvet Underground - (... & Nico)
it's about time i got this
Wilco - Kicking Television Live In Chicago
i watched them on Austin City Limits on PBS Saturday night and it put me in the mood for a live album

Wait, I have three...Dirty, Goo, Daydream Nation...what's the other?
And yes. I was WAY late to the VU game, but that album is pretty much required listening.
And Mig, PM me.

Actually, I lied, it's 2 Sonic Youth albums, the first Thurston Moore solo album, and the Ciccone Youth album. The SY albums are their first s/t album and the recent b-sides collection
